Founded in 2024, Live Well Tioga is a community health initiative aimed at providing Tioga-area residents with the wellness education and resources they need to lead healthier, happier lives.

Doctor's Desk

Six in ten adults in the US have a chronic disease and four in ten adults have two or more.

Chronic diseases are defined as conditions that last one year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both. Chronic diseases such as heart diseasecancer, and diabetes are the leading causes of death and disability in the United States.

Wellness is the active pursuit of the activities, choices and lifestyles that lead us toward an optimal state of health and wellbeing.

When you make healthy behaviors part of your daily life, you can prevent conditions such as high blood pressure and obesity, which raise your risk of developing the most common and serious chronic diseases.

Lunch + Learn with Mayo Clinic

Join us each month for a live, virtual presentation from a Mayo Clinic wellness professional.

These presentations are held the second Tuesday of every month from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the TMC Wellness Center (located in the basement of the clinic.)
